Until January 5, 2014 the Nederlands Foto Museum presents the exhibition 'WHITE'. A total experience with photography, art, design, fashion, architecture, film and video about the infinite possibilities of white. The museum presents among others never before seen photographs from the private collection of big names like Ed van der Elsken, Cas Oorthuys and Piet Zwart combined with international icons such as Eve Arnold, Guy Bourdin, Erwin Blumenfeld and many others.
'WHITE' shows the relationship between photography as an art form and current social issues, and the interaction between the permanent collection, special loan documents and unique works on commission.

From January 22 to February 2 the International Film Festival Rotterdam will take place. The latest feature films, documentaries, short films, exhibitions, musical performances, talk shows and afterparties visited Rotterdam to twelve days movie capital of the Netherlands. IFFR receives more than 2700 international film professionals and a large festival audience (340,000 visits in 2011). IFFR has become one of the biggest cultural events in the Netherlands.
